Substances:– SWIM had Multiple cups of Tea, 1 BC, 1 MC,
Intention:– I bless and guard this space
Notes:– First big storm. Second bowl turned in new Maine house. First turned with everything down stairs set up and mostly organized
Idea Going In:– Proud to get the bowl done. First of the new year. Basement is mostly set up. Got the face mask to not worry about inhaling sawdust. Did Jump-rope for 15 mins outside during the storm
Idea Coming Out:– Felt good to get back into it. Still need some kinks worked out with the new setup. It felt good though. Noticing that it feels a bit different, the outside flow was the best. In the sunshine. Still I soldier on. I need a better Forstner bit and hand plane
New Ideas, Insights, Process Improvement:– The face mask is a huge help. Fog free vision and not having to worry about the dust is a huge win. Also the vacuum for cleaning up and collecting dust is a great addition.
Still need to build a better dust collector for sanding. I am envisioning a half circle with a pivot point so that i can really get this dust collector enveloping the bowl while sanding to collect ALL of the sawdust.
